At the turn of the 20th century, Mary Lennox is a cleared out, dismissed, despised 10-year-old young woman, considered in India to rich British watchmen who never required her and put forward an undertaking to ignore the youth. Mary thinks about the mystery nursery and about some unusual cries that reverberate through the house around evening.
As Mary explores the nurseries, her robin makes her notification a region of upset soil.
